| The shore-based investments of IEL would be on the island of Keekimini. The Company would construct a fish-processing factory, a dried fish production plant and a fishmeal plant. There would also be a Cold storage, Boiler Room, Quality Control Laboratory, and a Reverse Osmosis Plant on the island. For the staff, in addition to the staff complex which whould include single rooms for executives, twin sharing rooms for skilled employees and four-in-a-room for semi skilled employees, there would be a Staff Kitchen, Dining Unit, a Library, Recreation Centre, Convenience Store, Cafeteria and Medical Clinic. A harbour would be developed which whould include a jetty and an alongside berth with a capacity to handle vessels up to 8000 metric tons. |
